Coach Kendall was a 6-time state champion in Track & Field, taking home the gold in four events his senior year of high school and defending his own state titles in both hurdle events. Along with his hurdle titles, he took gold in the 400m dash and anchored the winning 4x400 relay team with a split of 47.3 seconds, leading his team to victory. He was also invited to the US Air National Invitational meet to compete at one of the most prestigious track meets in the country where he lined up against two Olympic Team alternates in his first ever 400IH heat. He went on to run at the collegiate level where he continued to compete and break records in The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics division.
Since college, Coach Kendall has had the opportunity to train athletes from Milton, Loyalsock, Meadowbrook, and Jersey Shore, including several district champions and state medal winners. In 2023, he began coaching the sprints, hurdles, and 4x400 relay at Jersey Shore Area High School where he has developed two national competitors in the hurdles and sprints. He has now taken on the role of Boys Head Coach as he aims to help more athletes experience that same level of success.
